Websec is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the 10th Annual Oddfellows Charity Disc Golf Tournament, taking place on June 13, 2026. This is a milestone year for an event we have been happy to back, and the fundraising record speaks for itself.
Nine Years of Real Impact
Over the past nine years, the tournament has raised $219,047.07 for the Vancouver Island Crisis Society and over $46,000 for Mary's Farm and Sanctuary. The milestone 10th edition continues that work, with proceeds once again going primarily to support the Vancouver Island Crisis Line.
Who the Funds Support
The Vancouver Island Crisis Society provides accessible voice, text, and chat-based crisis intervention and suicide prevention services, along with postvention and community education programs. In the last year alone, their team handled over 35,900 crisis calls, more than 7,700 chat and text conversations, completed 394 active rescue interventions with 911, and 1,540 interventions with Mental Health Crisis Services. They are also a network partner on the new national 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline, and the chat and text services in particular have become a preferred way for Vancouver Island youth to reach out.
Why We Back This Event
Community matters, and so does the hard, unglamorous work that keeps crisis lines running. Being a Gold Sponsor of the 10th annual tournament lets us put real dollars behind a service that is catching people on the worst day of their lives, and we are glad to be part of it.
