Websec Sponsors the 8th Annual Oddfellows Disc Golf Tournament
Websec was proud to sponsor the 8th Annual Oddfellows Charity Disc Golf Tournament on June 8, 2024. Seven years of the event have raised over $128,000 for the Vancouver Island Crisis Society and more than $27,000 for Mary's Farm and Sanctuary, and all proceeds from 2024 continued that tradition.
Websec was proud to sponsor the 8th Annual Oddfellows Charity Disc Golf Tournament, held on June 8, 2024. The tournament brings disc golf players and community members together for a day of friendly competition with all proceeds going to local charity.
Where the Funds Go
Over its first seven years, the tournament has raised more than $128,800 for the Vancouver Island Crisis Society and over $27,000 for Mary's Farm and Sanctuary, and the 2024 tournament continued that tradition with all proceeds going back to those two organisations.
The Vancouver Island Crisis Society provides 24-hour crisis and suicide prevention services along with postvention programs and community education. Mary's Farm and Sanctuary, also known as Blossoming at the Farm, runs nature-based therapeutic and educational programs for children and youth.
Why We Support This Tournament
The work these organisations do matters. Getting the opportunity to back a community event that is also a serious fundraiser for two causes we respect is exactly the kind of involvement we look for, and we are glad to be part of it again.
