Websec at DerbyCon 2013
A summary of Websec's participation at DerbyCon 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky, where Roberto Salgado presented new optimisation and obfuscation techniques for evading SQL injection detection in modern IDS.
Websec is proud to have participated at the third edition of DerbyCon, which was held in Louisville, Kentucky. Roberto Salgado, CTO of Websec, presented his talk "') UNION SELECT `This_Talk` AS ('New Optimization and Obfuscation Techniques’)%00" at the "Break it" track on Sunday afternoon. Roberto's talk focused on different techniques that can be used to optimize and obfuscate SQL Injections in order to make attacks more effective and evade the detection of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
