Campus Party is recognized as one of the biggest events in the world in regards to technology with a presence in eight countries. This event brings together companies, universities and Internet communities all in one place; this year alone there were over 10,000 attendees. Campus Party has different areas where challenges, lectures, activities, presentations and panel discussions on science and technology, multimedia, e-commerce, entrepreneurship and social media are held. Roberto Salgado, Paulino Calderón, Pedro Joaquín and Luis Colunga each participated with a presentation.

Websec had the honour to participate in LACNIC 21, a space of coexistence for the Internet communities in Latin America and the Caribbean for the exchange of experiences and analysis of key solutions of future internet problems that may arise. Websec participated in LACSEC's "9th Network Security Event for Latin America and the Caribbean", whose main theme was network operations and secure infrastructure development. The Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) and the Faculty of Information Technology in Mazatlan, organized the first International Conference of Information Technology (CITIS 2014) which brought together specialists and world-class experts, in order to share with students of various schools and colleges of the state of Sinaloa their experiences and recent research.
