We are based in Victoria, BC, Canada but we have worked with clients from all over the world. At Websec, we have honed our expertise through a rigorous devotion to pushing the boundaries of theory and application within the computer security field. We have an active research section that toils daily to discover and patch new types of vulnerabilities. We also donate resources to different open source projects to conduct penetration tests, which include a full report of vulnerabilities and patch recommendations.

Websec is proud to participate in a number of different international conferences and industry conventions. We have been invited to give presentations at BlackHat/DefCon, the prestigious annual computer security conventions held in Las Vegas that are alternately billed as the world's largest hacker conventions. We have also participated as guests at BugCon, a purely technical convention where computer security specialists can display their latest ideas, research, and products.

Websec has offices in Canada and Mexico, and we are one of only a handful of firms in the industry to offer bilingual service. We are currently authoring a Spanish language technical manual detailing the full range of current web applications related to penetration testing.
